Manhattan Skyline Management Corp. Welcomes Popular Steakhouse Medium Rare to 488 Third Avenue

Medium Rare’s First Manhattan Location Open for Business at the Base of Murray Hill Manor

Manhattan Skyline Management Corp., one of New York’s leading real estate organizations, is pleased to announce that it has signed a lease with steakhouse Medium Rare to open a new location at 488 Third Avenue in Manhattan’s popular Murray Hill neighborhood.

Situated at the base of Manhattan Skyline’s luxury apartment building Murray Hill Manor®, Medium Rare will operate out of a 2,000-square-foot storefront that will feature an outdoor seating area and over 75 feet of prominent frontage on Third Avenue. Known for its signature steak and fries served in a friendly bistro-style format, this marks Medium Rare’s first New York City location. The steakhouse is currently open for business, serving brunch and dinner.

“Medium Rare will help meet a strong demand among Murray Hill’s residents, workers and visitors for fresh, quality cuisine in a welcoming setting,” said Joshua Roth, Senior Vice President of Retail at Manhattan Skyline Management Corporation. “We are pleased to accommodate Medium Rare’s expansion in New York. We look forward to providing an exciting and convenient new dining option for our valued residents at Murray Hill Manor and across the wider neighborhood.”

Medium Rare was founded in 2011 and currently has seven locations open in the Mid-Atlantic and Gulf Coast regions of the U.S. In addition to 488 Third Avenue, steakhouses are also opening soon in Philadelphia, PA and Watertown, MA as part of the brand’s Northeast expansion.

“Creating the best experience for our patrons across the country has always been our highest priority with our Medium Rare restaurants,” said Medium Rare Co-Founder Mark Bucher. “We’re thrilled to be bringing our secret sauce and customer service chops to New York City and can’t wait to serve new guests in Murray Hill.”

Roth represented Manhattan Skyline in the long-term lease transaction. Medium Rare was represented by Cosmo Montemurro of Murro Realty.

Murray Hill Manor offers luxurious studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments. Many of these spacious homes in the 21-story rental apartment building offer East River and skyline views. Amenities include a roof deck, fitness center, 24-hour doorman service and valet-attended garage.

488 Third Avenue was formerly occupied by Agave Restaurant and Tequila Bar. Neighboring tenants include Trader Joe’s, Duane Reade, Verizon Wireless, Sticky’s Finger Joint, 2nd Ave Deli, Framebridge, Blank Street Coffee, Van Leeuwen, BirchCoffee, Ruby’s and Bareburger.
